      Chakrata a Heaven In Uttarakhand 

Travelling a term which is very common everyone knows about it and travels. Travels to escape the chaos of life to feel the nature to become peaceful and to enjoy life. Travelling is the best to way to explore your self challenge and push your limit. I suggest everyone should travel because "Adventures are the best way to learn".

Everyone have a dream place to visit or travel and some searches places in the internet to travel because in internet you gets every thing. 

So, now I am gonna take you to a place Chakrata. Most of you haven't heard this name before because not many knows about it. Chakrata place for nature lovers.

Chakrata is a small town and a sub district of Dehradun in Uttarakhand,India. It lies between the Tong and Yamuna rivers, at an elevation of 2118m,98 Km form Dehradun. You can reach here from Dehradun via Mussoorie or Vikasnagar passing through Kalsi Gate. Both routes pass through beautiful mountainous roads.

Travelling during monsoon is one if the best felling at that time you can see hills covered with  fog it looks  gorgeous. It offers breathtaking views of mountains and forests. The town is surrounded by dense forests and is famous for it's unique species of birds and wild life and for the nature. Here you can visit some  amazing places which are the true natural beauty. 

Some of the places are-

1.Tiger Falls:- Tiger falls is one of the highest direct falls in Uttarakhand. It is 20 km from Chakrata and has elevation of 312 feet. The wonderful waterfall gets its name from the  resemble of its roar to that of a tiger. The waterfall is located in green forests of Shivalik Range and surrounded by Hills and valleys. To reach  the waterfall you need to treak down 1.5km . Those who love to treak  they will enjoy. You can also enjoy a dip in the pool which is created naturally by the waterfall and can enjoy the nature around the Fall. There is also a small Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva near the waterfall. Over all Tiger falls is a place to visit for nature lovers, and those who want peace and want to add my nature beauty.

2. Chilmiri Viewpoint:- Chilmiri view point is amazing place in Chakrata. It is located at an altitude of 2070m above sea level and offers the best view of the sunset and surrounding Himalayan ranges. Chilmiri at and distance of 4km from the main market of Chakrata.It is famous for its beauty scene in beauty. This place gives piece of mind you will feel so calm at this place. As it's a view point so it is located on top of the valleys covered by the green forests. Chilmiri you point is breathtaking with crystal clear views of the snow capped Himalayan peaks, verdant valleys. It is a dream destination for the nature lovers. The fresh air beautiful scenic drive view of dense forests these things make it a place to visit for sure.

3. Budher(Moila Dand):- Budher  is a small village. It is also a place with scenic beauty and natural attractions, trekking trails and wild life. This village is surrounded by dense forest and is located at altitude of around 2,200m above sea level. It is 30 km from Chakrata  main market. Here you can enjoy to watch Budher Caves  for reaching to the caves you need to trek FRH Budher. You can also enjoy activities such as camping bud watching and nature photography. The best time to visit here is march to June or September to November  that time whether it pleasant and good for outdoor activities. As it is away from main market so here you can enjoy the real village life. Budher place to visit for nature lovers and trekking.

4.Manjhgaon Temple:- Manjhgaon is known for its ancient temples which hold great culture and historical significance for stop Manjhgaon is also the name of ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is called Massu Devta in regional language. It is 15 km from Chakrata market. It is believed to be more than 500 years old and most revered temples in the area. The temple of features intricate carvings and beautiful architecture and it attracts number of devotees and tourists every year.

Overall Manjhgaon is a beautiful destination for those interested in exploring ancient temples and experience in the rich culture heritage of Uttarakhand. 

As like the above places there are few more a places like Kanasar, Deoban, Mundali meadows, Bairat Khai( The Princess of Hills), Lakhamandal temple which is believe to be 1000 years old. Where you can visit and enjoy the beauty of nature and make your holidays worth it.

Over all Chakrata is a  hidden gem that is perfect for those who are looking to escape the crowd and want to enjoy the beauty of nature in a peaceful and seren setting.
